About Home Church

Why

The truth is, Whitney doesn’t need another church. As you drive through town, or flip through the newspaper you find many churches from many denominations. Whitney doesn’t need another preacher, someone telling us that we’re living wrong, pointing out our flaws, and naming our sins. The truth is, if we're honest we’re pretty good at seeing our own flaws. Home Church isn't launching in Whitney because there’s too much sin or not enough churches. Home Church is launching because there’s never enough Love. Home Church exists to be a safe place, a place where people are loved not because of their perfections, but because Home is Where you go to feel Love.

Luke 15;19-20 MSG says; I’m going back to my father. I’ll say to him, Father, I’ve sinned against God, I’ve sinned before you; I don’t deserve to be called your son. Take me on as a hired hand.’ He got right up and went home to his father.

Home Church is here to tell you, that you're always welcome Home. The love of Jesus will never exclude anyone. We invite you to join with us in sharing that Love, We invite you Home, a place where you’re always welcome.

Mission

Our goal at Home Church is threefold. To share Love to the lonely, Hope to the hopeless, and be a Safe Place for those who are searching.

There's no place like Home, and Home Church strives to be a home to the Lake Whitney community, and surrounding areas. Bringing people back to a place where they feel loved and welcomed. We believe that strong communities exist where there are strong people, and strong people are built where there is love. We believe that there should be no safer place than home.

We want to be the Love of Jesus for the Lake Whitney area, being an asset to our communities and in the lives of those we come in contact with. We believe that a strong church is built one healthy person at a time, so we are committed to building healthy homes and people in our region.

Our goal is to be a welcoming place that is a beacon of light in this dark world that we live in. Maybe you have never been to church, or it has been years since you have felt comfortable in one. Maybe you don't have anywhere that you can call home. Maybe you know that your family is missing something, that you're missing something in your life. Whatever you need, we believe that you will find answers when you come Home. There's no place like Home Church.

Our Vision: Transform our community one person at a time.

Our Mission: Serve God, through serving others and sharing his Love.

Upward: Building transformational relationships with Jesus

Outwards: Serving our community and sharing the Love of Jesus with others

Inwards: Being a safe place where relationships are built and lives are changed.
